If you install a kit , make sure you get all the old stuff off completely, the glue won’t hold completely if there is the slightest old stuff left. I thought I did a great job once, until it sat out on a hot summer day, then the foam on the posts started coming loose. My second attempt stayed on though. But you can’t reuse the first liners because of the old glue on them .
