I’ve got a 7060 black belly, had a 7000 maroon belly. Cant say there was a lot of difference in the cab. They have factory floor mat, foam around the back and sides. The black belly has it up the side posts as well. I’d say it’s a comfortable environment for the time - maybe not as quiet as my Ih 86 series. Air works decent, good heat, can’t really hear the radio.
My dad still has his 7000 black belly, I’ve put thousands of hours in that cab. I’ve had a 1086 for 20 years, I can say without a doubt that Allis cab is for sure quieter, especially going down the road, that 1086 you hear howling gear noises! |
