North Central Iowa | Well, one still needs to move the physical markers with a 16/32 setup. One side gets slid in 7.5” and the other out 7.5”. This is assuming one has moved the drawbar over 7.5” to the right. This puts the center of the tractor and the center of the “planter” on the same line. While the physical tongue of the planter is no longer centered with the tractor, the planting width is. On a 16/32 setup, the 32nd row is added out to the far left side (at least on kinzes). With the markers offset properly, then the mark is followed down the center of the tractor on the next pass, no matter which direction you turn back on. | |
