You'll have to twist drill it to do both. No annular cutter/mag drill will be long enough to cut 3/8 thick then have to move 5 1/4 inch to start cutting the next hole.
You could annular cut one side, leave mag engaged change out to long bit and drill a pilot hole, flip and annular cut the other side lining up with the pilot hole
He said "sides" and 2 inch stroke
So I think he is going the short side
our mag drill will do the 2 inch side easy
and angular cutters sure make it fast |
