What’s the longest anybody has had the in floor heat with the glycol pump recirculation? I don’t know the technical name for it. Wondering how long till something goes wrong.

I’ve had mine in for 20 years now. I bought the pex aluminum pex 1/2” tubing. A 180,000 BTU water heater, and a pump and mixer panel from Menards that said it was good for 1200 ft.².

I hooked that one pump up to about 6000 ft of the 10,000 ft of pipe in my 10,000 sq ft building. 13 years later I added 2 more pumps. I didn’t get all the air out and had to replace both of those pumps. The original pump is still running 20 years later.
