BEANS: Drop AMS by half and add that back in as elemental to make it up for season long release. Then start fall spreading potash and elemental S ahead of beans. AMS topdress works better it seems than PPlant. Boron foliar.
Corn: Keep N:S ratio around 6:1 in light ground, 10:1 in heavy high OM ground. Boron with planter, if not then at sidedress, and with fungicide. Put it in passes already being made.
I agree with the corn but on the beans that's why so many are going to ATS in their burndown. It's half available immediately and half has to breakdown so basically a slow release. Have had very good luck with ATS on beans and seen results that elemental never brought.
