From my limited knowledge of the area but from what I've read off of here they have darn good wells there. That being said could be a reason why they dislike pivots.
There seems to be a huge disconnect between Nebraska and Arkansas farming. I have no idea why they are polar opposites in terms of irrigation. But I am not thrilled with the pivot dealers that are nearest to us. Andy
