Malta, Illinois | Spend the money and foam it. Bat insulation was okay until something better came along. Will bat insulation work well? Yes it will especially for the first several years. It won't seal up any air leaks that are a result of construction errors or carelessness and it is vulnerable to rodents. I have been told that rats will eat the spray foam but mice will not. I don't know if that is true but that is what I was told. | |
