Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
Dad had one on a pull-type Case A6? combine that was used for threshing oats and soybeans. That was close to 70 years ago.

It was mounted in the grain tank and diverted the weed seeds out a tube through the grain tank wall. The tube had hooks on it so a gunny sack could be attached. When the sack got full of weed seeds Dad would tie it with twine and replace it with another. He would burn the sacks of weed seeds after harvest.

Dad traded the old Case in for a MM 2890 which did not have one. I had forgotten about them until this post.
