We have problems with our three overhead doors doing that, the colder it gets the worse the bow. Get a set of the Snirt Stopper door seals, they will bend in with the door when it bows and keep touching it, where the standard cheap vinyl ones will get a gap. We also put the same seals on the inside top of each door to give an extra measure of protection. When the wind blew, we used to see a tag up above the top of one door wiggling in the breeze, but now it doesn’t, it makes quite a difference. Go to SnirtStoppers website, there’s lots of videos to watch. On the top door seal though, you almost have to cut the old vinyl lip away, because it was keeping our new seal from bending in all the way to the door last time it got really cold.
that job is coming our way
Snirts are on the way
so you ended up removing all of the original seal ??? |
