I'll post in the computer section as well but what I'm trying to do is;
I have an 80 acre field
I want to make 7(or 6, depending on the final calculation), 10 acre sections, with a buffer between each section.
I want to know how wide and long each section and buffer will be, and the headlands will be a buffer as well.
Is there a program that can do this, easily?
Even if there was a program
( there might be
) you would need more info. What is the shape/dimensions of the 80 acre field? What shape/length do you want your plots to be? What is the required buffer dimension? Is it the same on all sides?
