| We have a 2015 IH Prostar that we got a year and a half ago. It had cheap new steer tires on, but steering wheel would wobble back and forth a little at certain speeds. We had better new steer tires put on and balance beads in them. It still bucked and shook, but the steering wheel wobble went away. Truck had all 8 new recaps on the back. So we put both rear axels up on jackstands and spun the tires, then we could see one of them out of round pretty bad. Turns out that one’s rim center hole was too large, so the hub didn’t center it perfectly. Got a new rim and it’s a lot better now, although I blame some of the shaking that’s left on the recap driver tires, a couple of hem aren’t spinning perfectly true. | |
