Subject: RE: Header Trailer Neck Bracing Rubbing Tires

I have an Industrias America header trailer and the bracing for the neck is rubbing on the tires (troublesome bracing is indicated in attached picture). It only does it when you are turning and the trailer is tilted. I was looking for solutions for my problem. I was thinking about cutting out the existing bracing (one on each side) and welding a thicker, smaller, and rounded edge one in the center. Looking at other header trailers, they don’t seem to have any more clearance than the one pictured and most of the time have fenders as well. Any other ideas?

Can you just radius the existing gussets and gain enough room?
