Driftless SW Wisconsin

Raineyfarm40 - 1/23/2025 19:12 I would use the gallagher insulated wire. It is the right stuff. Can run it in a 1/2" pex pipe as well for extra insulation factor, may also look nicer as the last wire I got from gallagher is striped red and black.

Running double insulated in some kind of non-conducting pipe or 1/2" grey plastic conduit is a very good idea, esp with an 18 joule fencer. Are you sure you need that high a joule fencer? They can be dangerous. I've fenced a square 40 acre perimeter and cross wires with a 6 joule Gallagher fencer.
