I've had a Coleman on my diesel fuel tank for a long, long time. I have changed the battery once ~10 years. There's a lot more choices today and if you get one that has a controller (stops charging, stops high voltage) you should be all sel. And I probably paid a lot more (in today's dollars) than you can get one today.
