Not on a CaseIH, but I just painted the plastic roof on my JD 6420 that had faded. I scrubbed it well and then scuffed it with a red Scotch Brite pad. Then I put on two coats of epoxy primer followed by 2 coats of JD factory green enamel with hardener. It bonded well, and now the color should last as long as the paint on the rest of the tractor.
I think I'll try that. Just scuff it good, primer and paint. Looks bad now, can't be much worse. |
