I basically have 2 affordable choices for corn fungicide applications. Which will be the best bang for buck?
#1 xyway 2x2 at planting
#2 over top before tassel because of sprayer clearance R 4038
What I consider unaffordable but available would be drone and helicopter. Around $15-20 an acre here at 2 gpa.
Using a drone of helicopter operator that will allow you to bring your own generics really opens up an affordable and effective 1 or 2 pass program.
Been talking with a few on here with experience and looking at 2 $12 drone passes and generics of headline, tilt and/or quilt for the cost of a single retail helicopter and name brand product |
