I like the whole thing to be wider than that. Makes for lower stress movement and when they inevitably get turned around occasionally, its much less stress getting them faced the right direction again. And when it's wider we can move larger groups and its way easier on them. I typically use a double folding 36" or 48" to push em on the trailer
