If they use data off my combine then their in for an awakening. We usually take first & second load to town. See how monitor yield compares and deviate off that. If it’s 10% off we know which way. But then again maybe usda does use mine. Maybe that’s why they were off so far. Heeehheee fooled them again.


I agree. The data isn't worth much when lots of operators are not calibrating their technology correctly.


If it makes you feel like not calibrating allows you to stick it to them , then keep on keeping on. I assure you that there are algorithms built to handle that. It's been awhile but one I watched a program called "The Code" in which one part of one episode illustrated this algorithm by a guy walking around the office floor with a big bowl of jelly beans asking people guess how many was in the jar. The guesses were all over the board. But the algorithm that he was illustrated took into account all the guesses and when it was calculated, the aggregate was within just a few beans of the actual amount. So my point is not calibrating is doing you more harm than what you are doing to them.
