WCIL | Our bins are over 10 years old so may be different now. We have 2 Sukups with hawk cut and a GSI with similar. They are very hard to sweep against the grain. We use a leaf blower for final cleanup. We dislike the hawk cut enough that on our last Sukup we got the perforated with the round air holes. It is not as stiff of a floor as the hawk cut, but no issues. I would probably do the heavy duty perforated if doing it again (not sure if it was on option back then). We have straight 8" unloads and the Sukups have a huge sump that will out run a full speed 10" truck auger. Probably only open it half way. The GSI we can open fully and keep up. The Sukup sump pull rods are not good unless they have changed, but we either bought or made different ones with a long pull handle. . GSI has rollers on their traps and a long pull handle. GSI has a smaller fill hole on top while the Sukup is huge. I can't say there is a nickel difference in the GSI vs Sukup as far as quality. We have them side by side. | |
