Going to assume it's a centrifugal fan based on bin size. If the fan is on the motor shaft too far, it is pulling too much air, overloading the motor. You need to loosen the center hub and slide it out "a little bit", essentially putting part of the fan rotor behind the inlet cone, so it pulls less air. You're about 10% over, I would try maybe 1/4" first time, it's a trial and error deal, at least as far as I know.
