Subject: RE: Concrete under sliding doors, best way to form

nc IA
2" angle iron that I then welded rebar to at a 45 degree angle. I wasn't there when they poured it - do need to possibly brace it a bit more as one side has a ever so slight bow, but doesn't affect operation. Done at the right spot, the door pulls up snug against it when latched shut.

Edit: they hand formed a slight ramp in the second photo so the center latching post is not a issue for driving over. That also was cut off of the post put in originally, and then I welded a series of re-bars to it and they embedded it into the concrete.
