Drafted in Jan of 1969. Spent 6 months at Ft. Lewis Wash. Arrived in Viet Nam the last week of June. Spent one year in the jungle. We were always dirty filthy. Had a spot of jungle rot on my hand. Got home June of 1970. Reported to Fort Riley Ks. Received an 3 month early out for agriculture. Only spent 21 months in the service
