Virginia | I've got a gun or two. My go too that I hunt with is a model 70 winchester in 270wsm. Fad or not it's what I like and shoot.
I bought my son a howa mini action in 6mm arc for Christmas, it's his first bolt action deer rifle. (He's eight) We sighted it in after Christmas and that has gotten me interested in that caliber.
It's ballistically simular to my 270wsm, but it has hardly any recoil. It's really a nice, flat shooting little rifle.
I'd look strongly at a 6mm arc. That's going to be the next one I build. | |
