My Allis 7060 plays with my 15' 750, your 4555 should too. 4240 will pull it ok as well. Neighbour used an 856 IH for a couple years but wasn't quite enough with all 24 openers down, went to an Allis 8030. Whatever you do don't get one with dolly wheels, unbelievable compaction and no weight on the tractor for traction. Two point hitch is best but mine is on the drawbar and it's ok too with a plastic drawbar washer. Plenty of aftermarket solutions to fix any short comings from factory on the drill. Needham V8 firming wheels are a must, much more consistent seed depth. Should plant into cornstalks fine, wheat into bean stubble is one of my favourite jobs and works great.
