Subject: RE: JD 750 Drill

NW Ohio,near Findlay
We pull our 750 with the dolly wheels with a 4020 turbo in 5th gear. Would pull it in sixth, but turning on ends, works better in 5th. Our dolly setup on drill, we do not carry any weight of the drill, pull with drawbar. In mud, in can get stuck, but not suppose to be out there, correct. Our neighbor has same drill with the dolly wheels and he has a setup, connects to the quick hitch and he can carry some of the weight on the tractor if needed. I guess its OK, but all the turning is banging the lift arms around. We hardly use the quick hitch anymore, no plowing, field cultivator now a wider pull type.
