Southeast WI | My office is "outside" of our basement on the walkout level. I put carpet in to reduce noise for one thing. I should have, and still could, zoned it separately from the rest of the basement. Being almost fully exposed to the outside drains some heat off and the carpet does not let heat transfer as well as the rest of the basement with bare concrete. I run a small space heater for a bit to warm it up more so not a big issue. | |
