| I hear a lot of people say they like the cold as they can always add more layers. They aren’t wrong, but what exactly are you accomplishing at temperatures below zero? I have performed 80% of the tasks on farm at 100*F. Can’t say the same as 0*F, tools and materials just aren’t designed for that cold. Even putting up bins in triple digits beats doing the same at 30* trying to keep the sealant warmed and pliable.
Up here, cold winter days are just survival mode, keep feed and water in front of the critters along with the engines running. Every day a person can get through with all three is one day closer to spring. | |
