Just curious where are you getting your bulls from?
Reputable angus breeders with solid maternal herds. When I tried to go charolais when I first started I had way more fallout. Struggled to keep most outside bulls in the herd very long so started keeping some of my own the last few years. Stringent culling process to pick 2 or 3 from 80-90 bull calves. Vet has been impressed with the home raised bulls at semen test time. |
