I don't think moving it indoors had anything to do with the weather.

I'm surprised at the emphasis to have it outside in the past. I figured that the Secret Service would have put a stop to that long ago, because of the order-of-magnitude difference in the costs and hassle involved.
Was the forecast wrong?
