Chebanse, IL..... | I didn't know they had a desktop version any longer.
I have used QB since forever also. But, a couple of years ago following a new computer addition (following a computer crash!) I found I couldn't install the old QB. I knew it was no longer supported. Our tax guy had been after me for years to upgrade so my files would match his, but I didn't. I avoided all the "You need to upgrade now!" announcements from QB. But then, after putting the new computer into service, I found the only way to get QB again was the online version. I bought the cheapest available because it still does about 10,000 times as much as I need.
But, I will admit it's nice not having to worry about data storage and having to reinstall this and find that file and rebooting the computer & seeing a "failure to load" message or whatever on the old HD installed version. The online version just turns on as long as you have internet...period. |
