Lots of time will order water but give difference of water and a drink on top of regular tip.Last night we had a beer each so she never got a bigger tip .
We usually just drink water also. many times you can read the expression on staff's faces figuring they will not get much tip, if they give good service I tip as if we had ordered drinks also, I tend to tip a higher percentage on a small bill vs. large, same amount of service goes into each, why should the wait staff be rewarded because the owner has higher prices or be penalized if we are not real hungry? |
