Iowa | "Farmer of the Year" is a movie I'd not previously seen or been aware of. It popped up on my YouTube tonight. It was made about five years ago and is probably a little off the beaten path as far as movies go. It's about an 83 year old widowed Minnesota dairy farmer taking a cross country trip with his granddaughter after selling his farm to his daughter (or daughter in law?). He struggles with the realities of growing old while his granddaughter struggles with the realities of becoming an adult.
