I used to plant an early bean early for an early harvest. I have found that a late group soybeans that I would have never considered before really shine with an early plant and early fungicide.


This year the really early beans planted early, were 10 bu better.
I planted a later maturity early, normal time, and one later, and they all yielded the same.

You just never know with beans, I spread the risk with planting dates and maturities.
