You are trying to work from the top but you haven't even started at the bottom yet. Too much focus on your perceived earning abilities and your high IQ to even get started. I know plenty of people with high IQs and none of them are financially successful. I also know plenty of people that are what people consider not smart that are incredibly successful. Because they never thought they were above regular work because they thought they should be designing rockets for nasa. My advice is what your family told you. Get a job doing anything even for minimum wage and listen to the boss. Don't tell him how smart you are. Advancement comes with productive achievements and reliable performance over great amounts of time. I actually know a few off grid camper dwellers. They have high IQs too. So high that they always get fired because they know WAY more than their boss. It's job time not Dream world time.
I never know what I am supposed to say. Consider me stupid then. Actually the word "successful" just means money, so I really am quite stupid. As far as "starting at the bottom", I realize now that I have to eat **** on here as people seem to not realize I actually have taken a bath in ****, and done unimaginable jobs while trying to provide for my former family and build a business. A ditch digger I started, and a ditch digger I will end.
Yes, the "sell it all" mentality I find the most popular. I need to figure out how to do that. Already sold off or scrapped about $150K. Just need to dump the other $150k. Probably cost me about $30k to give it away though. Gets tricky with heavy iron. |
