Subject: RE: Understanding T-L Bypass

East of Broken Bow
My T-L has speed sensors on the 2 outer towers.

The speed sensor on the outer tower reads how fast the outer tower is moving. I have center point controls for speed and direction, and there is a display at the center point that reads how fast the tower is moving.

The next to last tower also has a speed sensor, or maybe more accurately a movement sensor that pulses when that tower is moving. If you hit the 'test' button while the pivot is moving, it will blink for every pulse. If the end tower wheels are turning for a while without the next tower moving, it will shut the pivot down so it doesn't dig the end tower to the frame.

As far as the bypass, the previous posters are correct, if it gets far enough out of line, it will halt the oil flow to the outer towers, stopping the pivot.
