Mid Michigan | You are trying to work from the top but you haven't even started at the bottom yet. Too much focus on your perceived earning abilities and your high IQ to even get started. I know plenty of people with high IQs and none of them are financially successful. I also know plenty of people that are what people consider not smart that are incredibly successful. Because they never thought they were above regular work because they thought they should be designing rockets for nasa. My advice is what your family told you. Get a job doing anything even for minimum wage and listen to the boss. Don't tell him how smart you are. Advancement comes with productive achievements and reliable performance over great amounts of time. I actually know a few off grid camper dwellers. They have high IQs too. So high that they always get fired because they know WAY more than their boss. It's job time not Dream world time. | |
