Rice County, MN | As mentioned "house rules" vary. Our version of rummy is called "Dealer's Choice" and allows top card pickup only. That is the only card visible in the discard pile. We play rummy along with hearts, 3 or 4 handed. Dealer chooses the game and the choice is usually based on the score. We play until someone goes over 100. If you land exactly on 100 you go back to zero. Plenty of strategy since each point costs $$. | |
