At 70 I coach myself “be careful— pick that up— go slow and easy” I say to myself often
Well I didn’t recover the 4 holes that are pulled open to take the pressure off a power sweep
Got in the bin took a shovel to help the power sweep that was hung up on a loose piece of flooring
Tripped foot went in one of the open holes only removed my right big toe when I felt it figured lost at least 1/2 my foot
4 days in the hospital— have to fill out multiple work comp claims— I couldn’t think of a fib to claim it happened in my garage
Bet our work comp bill goes up

4 days for a toe? Was there other issues? Was this at a job or on your farm? You have workers comp on your own farm? Hope the pain isn’t too bad and you recover quickly.
