For just irrigating it'd be too expensive for me...........so yah, the manure application for the folks that need it would be ideal.
I am in area they did traveling gun manure application for a decade. I am not aware of anyone still doing it.
I just sold a 80 that a traveling gun was something I considered. *not manure just water, maybe some liquid fertilizer* A 20 acre @1/2 mile long narrow, raised driveway, a 30 acre 200 yards shorter on other side of driveway. Irrigation guy said not to try. Plus the raided driveway would of course get flooded, blocked when used. *17 miles from home, so time wasted checking to move* and person who’s driveway….
I thought spraying diluted, screened manure w/water on crops a dang good idea. When they pump septic. He spreads on area I suggest. *may have gotten a few other loads dumped there* disc it in poor soil. It does slightly perk it up. Noticeable greener.
