I will be honest, I can either have a plastic bumper that costs me nothing, ( came with the truck) that takes the abuse.
Or I can pay money so I have to get my fat hiny in and out of the truck 3 or 4 times every load.
I guess if I had to get in and out that much and loose that much time doing it,I might not be so fat! LOL
You made me remember a guy who hauled seed to my warehouse in town.
He was a classic Peterbuilt with the big chrome bumper, the big Cat, Lowered seat, 12 inch straight pipe trucker. ( I am betting you are a couple cuts as a driver and owner, above this guy)
He jumped the curb as he couldn't hit the dock without pulling onto the neighbors property. ( Nice grass).
Every year he damaged his bumper, every year he cussed me out. The last time I saw him come in I offered to unload him in the street. No way.
An hour later he is cussing me for his ruined bumper.

you remind of a guy trying to back in a spot to unload a tank of anhydrous at a fertilizer plant and it right next to where I had to dump at a conveyor for dry fertilizer finallyI lost my patience so I ask him if he needed help he got passed he pull out and I back my doubles in the conveyor was stationary the conveyor is 3 foot my grain doors are 2 foot i got six inches of play on each you also have back in on the blind side that why the other driver couldnt
