The little rubber hose on my did go bad a year ago or so and I replaced that part. The biggest issue I've had with the torch is after running it for a while it starts popping. This only gets worse until eventually I get so fed up with it I go do something else and come back later. Last night when it blew up it started popping, there was a bang, and I heard the powder bottle land somewhere at the other end of my shop.
I do really appreciate your input. I had all the O-rings replaced in the torch a couple years ago, but it sounds like I could have some worn orifices as well. I guess I'll have to decide if its worth trying to get this torch going again vs getting something different. | |
