I don't know how your truck pencils, I do know that odds are good that by 1.4 million miles one will need an engine and transmission. Probably rear ends to if one is hauling off road much.
I like a nice truck as well as the next guy. If you want a KW that is fine. It is your money.
I have a 4840 tractor for the same reason, I just wanted one.
I see you need to put us Freightliner guys down. I think that means you missed part of the point of our posts.
The reason we put them in the weeds is we can recoup our original cost as parts. They get put in the weeds when a major component fails or an accident.
It is a cost per mile thing. Not that you are doing is wrong, but it costs more money per mile.
I notice you are focusing on gross weight , not payload.
Which takes us back to my original post. Some truck for money and some truck to put on a show.
FWYI, I pull right at 65,000 payload with my little 3 axle Freightliner legal on a 2 axle trailer.


unless your pay load is permit you are breaking the law
