Northwest IL | Plant beans first still the thing to do? Last year it was dry early and the two planter guys did get an early start. When the combines finally rolled didn’t hear as much oh wow what a difference in yield as year past. It was dry in August so maybe the yield response was minimal last year. We plant corn then beans but depending on circumstances thought about trying beans before corn on one farm if it works out. | |
