Cedar Rapids, Iowa | We ran a 3800 for about 12 years. We sold it to buy a bulk-fill planter, but otherwise it was fine. Keep the telescoping drive shafts lubed well. We had one seize up and bent the brackets when we folded the planter. Also pay attention to the height of the transport axle when folding and unfolding. If it's at the wrong height, it will interfere with the main tool bar and something would break. Pretty much need to be on level ground to get the wings to fold in equally. | |
