Easy money. Why don't you put on all the n at v3? Do you can bu doing v3 and v6? Do you ydrop the n?
The V3 application is a low rate to be there for the V5 and V6 growing point. At V5 I will Haney test the soil and that along with how the year looks, what the forecast looks like. History of the field will determine how much nitrogen I apply at V6 to be there for the V8 point of influence and rest of the year.

If I had the ability to do a sprayer pass at tassel, I would probably do another low rate pass at V6 and then the final pass just before tassel
There is something the foliar applications, I don't completely understand it. But, I've watched it work many times. V5 made 5-7 bu. Tassle pass made 10-13 bu. But I put no NPK. We know 13 bu needed NPK, so how does that work? They say we are stimulating the plant and life. That's why I put the "source" stimulant, fulvic, humic, micros,sugars. |
