New Castle, PA | We are in the process of converting things over to a single group 31 battery and hooking up a disconnect as the existing batteries or cables go bad .Have done several 30/40/50 series tractors and 9400 combine is next .The combine has more electronics than the tractors so my question is should we stick with 2 group 31 batteries in the combine or simply go with one as we have in the tractors .We are normally done harvesting 3rd week of Oct. so not be using combine in cold weather. We run tractors very little in winter as no livestock to feed or haul manure , so we get along fine with one battery , just not sure about the combine due to much more electrical stuff than the tractors Thanks | |
