Southern Alberta | Totally understand the semi argument, we deal with a lot of small producers and horse people that are looking for hay in gooseneck loads. Guys looking for more we use a semi & step deck.
550 is rated for around 30k towing capacity so we are good there, it handles it very nicely and comes to a stop very well.That’s why we went to a 550 vs a 1 ton I see most people using.
What I’m trying to understand is how these trailers are rated and the discrepancy between makes.
