Jack up any rear wheel. With the engine off release the brakes. If power divider is unlocked any 1 rear wheel that is jacked up should turn by hand. Lock the power divider and your 1 jacked up wheel will not turn if everything is working correctly.
Obviously you need air pressure in the tanks for these checks.
