Exactly right...we can't reach top end on these hybrids. My question is why these companies price them in our area like we can? Dekalb might get away with $344/bag in Illinois or Iowa but I can't pay that here....its ridiculous.
They price it that way because us as farmers keep buying it.
Farmer’s are our own worst enemies. Pay top dollar for the newest varieties so we can make bigger yields, resulting in oversupply which leads to less profit per bushel produced. We have to be the only industry in the world that cuts our own throat like that. |
